The 2024 LUXE Restaurant Awards were hosted at Monument House in Franschhoek, celebrating South Africa’s finest culinary talent in one of the country’s most iconic food and wine regions.
Industry leaders, restaurateurs, and chefs gathered for an evening dedicated to recognising innovation, service excellence, and creative mastery.
La Petite Colombe was announced as Restaurant of the Year, while Callan Austin was honoured as Chef of the Year, reflecting his exceptional culinary vision and leadership.
Founder and Chief Judge Chad Fourie addressed the importance of the platform, stating:
“These awards play a vital role in recognising excellence and inspiring the next generation of culinary professionals.”
The ceremony highlighted both emerging talent and established icons, reinforcing the diversity and global relevance of South Africa’s dining scene.
